hello this is ExtraNullByte and I'll be installing an emunand on this device but first i would like to thank you all the subs and comments and my other videos it makes me want to do more videos for you guys that said if you would like to see some topics covered we were comment in the comment section below and I'll see to cover it.
You will need the following items in SD card reader of some sort and an SD card of this more than 2 gigabytes in size i'd recommend 16 or 32 gigabytes as this will allow you to install apps and games later on make sure to check your device version by going to settings as this will not work on anything higher than 9.
2 if your device is higher than 19.
2 than you can check out one of my other videos how to downgrade using a hardmod or any alternative methods that might be out if you're watching this video in the future alright we can begin now, start by plugging your SD card into your computer i'll use my sdcard reader, i'm having difficulties getting that sd card in buy eventually I managed i'll see you at my desktop download link is in the description.
Pause now and go get the zip once you have it start, begin by extracting the contents inside you'll see two folders step one step two open step one and copy both of the files to your SD card your card might look different as it may have content already, it doesn't change anything copy files from step one and paste it on the SD card and override any files that might pop up once you do that remove the SD card from the computer and let's go back to the 3DS put the SD card back into the 3DS if your SD card was blank it will see this little pop-up window otherwise continue as normal go to the browser and click on the URL and type in reboot.
Me/3ds I will include the qr-code the video and the link in the description when the page loads click on the boot launcher.
Dat if your 3ds freezes hold the power button and try again one successful you will see a Gateway application open use the left and right buttons to navigate the menu you should pack up your system nand as this is very important and you should keep a backup of your system nand in case something happens in the future i skip this step to keep the video time down backing up with a few minutes so sit tight and wait make sure get the backup nand transfered to the pc before proceeding as a next step will wipe the sdcard press left few more times and select format emunand, make sure you have all the important files backed up as this will delete everything from your SD card, press A to continue and read the warning which states that all data will be lost if you're happy with that press Start and let it do its thing for about four minutes i will fast-forward this step once it's done you have emunand installed press A to continue hold the power button a couple of seconds to shut down the device take the SD card out and put it back into the computer after you plug in the SD card you will only see one file in the root of your sdcard delete this file as we won't need it any longer now go get the files from the step 2 folder and copy all the files inside paste them on the root of the SD card and remove the SD card from the pc let's go back to the 3DS.
Put the SD card back into the 3DS and it turn it on once it boots up if your version supports themes click on the theme button on top and choose the theme you want I go with red because it was the first one after the theme has applied go to the browser and press the URL button type browserhax.
Se screen should start flashing different colors if it freezes of any point hold the power button for a few seconds and redo the browser step again until they close the homebrew launcher once you have it scroll down to luma3DS hold select compress A to get into the settings enable region /language emulation and enable show nand or user string in system settings Press Start to apply changes this will boot back to home screen and even though it looks the same it's actually an emunand as you can see the settings once on this screen do not press the close button as this will kick you back to system nand instead go to other settings, press right few times until you see system update option agree and update the console this will update the emunand and not the console this is why it is important not to leave the system settings once update is done click OK to reboot and wait until it powers on go back to system settings and you should see the version number hasn't changed exit system settings and go back to the browser go to URL and go back to browserhax.
Se if you're 3DS freezes hold the power button and try again once in homebrew launcher go to luma3ds and press A to boot into enumand you should see your emunand configuring home screen and it should be on the latest version this is important because now you can access the Nintendo estore once the console has finished configuring go to the theme and apply the new theme to your emunand and this will be used to identify which nand you're currently using i'll apply black for emunand and red for sysnand go to system settings to confirm that you're actually on emunand and that is the latest version as you can see here it says emunand version 11.
2 clicking close will take us back to sysnand but wait wasn't our system nand theme set to red? well yea it was at this point both sysnand and emunand and use the same configuration files so we need to do something called "Unlinking" this is simple remove the SD card from the console and go to system settings again go to other settings press right until you get to format system memory and press the red format button this will clean the 3ds let it reboot and do the whole setup i'll fast-forward this step, but it shouldn't take you long to do this whole thing set up your Wi-Fi connection and boot into the console excuse the bright screen i run out storage of my phone while recording so how to restart put the SD card back into the console wait for the home screen setup and apply new theme to your sysnand now we have our theme set up – black is our emunand and red is our sysnand the browser and type browserhax.
Se again and go back into the homebrew launcher if your console freezes at any point or you get an error like I did, reboot and try again this is perfectly normal once you boot into homebrew launcher go to luma3ds and press A to enter emunand I will go to the settings one more time to show you that themes are different between nands as going to the settings and exiting will kick you out of enunand into sysnand and go from the black theme to the red theme congratulations you have you not installed in the next video we'll setup menu manager to make this process much faster so that we can enter emunand at will without having to use a browser this is great if you're outside somewhere and have no internet connection but for now thanks for watching and this video has helped please leave a like and hopefully you'll subscribe for more videos like this Cheers.
Who 10 years ago would really have believedthat today you would be navigating a route whilst streaming music from the ‘cloud’and sharing your progress on social media whilst curating a pitch to win new businessall from your phone.
In recent months, even those with a real passionfor mobile tech would argue there is a lack of excitement and innovation in smartphones.
Today refinement rather than radical shifts in style and technical capability is the order.
This then explains, despite technical andhardware differences, the Sony X Compact, successor to the Z5 Compact of 2015 it offerslittle to tell it apart.
Despite the vast number of smartphones thatexist, one space in the market that is relatively untouched still is the compact sized phonewith flagship specs, for those who simply don’t want a phone with a screen in excessof 5”, but want the raw power and possibility that comes from the best hardware.
This void has been filled by Sony with previousCompact devices and more recently by Apple with the SE.
Sales confirm that there is aneed for devices of this ilk, but there are few that tick the boxes often as a resultof compromise to achieve the size.
It is these compromises that drive many toquestion whether going for larger phone is the best option to get the performance, evenif it means giving up on the comfortable form factor.
So how do the specs of the X Compact look?Key specifications are shown on screen now.
As I mentioned earlier the X Compact looksquite similar to the Z5 Compact so you will not be ‘wowed’ by the design but thereare some subtle design cues that have been carried across from the Xperia X range withslight curvature to the display edges, helping narrow the bezel.
You have the typical front facing camera, notification light, SIM and microSD card tray and headphone jack.
Notable are the front facing stereo speakersand the new USB Type-C connector.
Mounted on the right edge is the power buttoncome fingerprint scanner and it is worth noting to just how good the fingerprint sensor is.
Is this not the best place for a fingerprint reader? Screen face up or down by the timeyou have the X Compact in the ready to use position the screen is unlocked.
The placement of the volume keys is contentious.
I do not believe is the ideal location, they can be awkward to move your thumb to, theleft edge would make more sense.
Making up for this is the dedicated camerabutton.
In the hand the Compact is comfortable, likean old friend I feel right back at home.
5mm thick and 135g it is reassuringly chunky, without being excessive.
Solid and robust, sure to survive 2 yearsof constant use, the glossy plastic finish, inspired by ceramic texture, is softer tothe palm but a fingerprint magnet.
The Z5 matte finish and the iPhone SE metal bodylooks and feels more premium in the opinion of the Clove staff.
It is also worth noting unlike previous Compactdevices, the X Compact is not IP rated.
In many respects I hoped that the X Compacthad a 1080p full HD display for the sake of progression, but alas it is only 720p.
That said the reality of everyday use is that1080p on a screen just 4.
6” is essentially wasted.
For web browsing, replying to emails and checkingsocial media the higher resolution would have little benefit.
I find myself watching quite a few videoson YouTube through my mobile and rarely did I feel I really needed more detail, especiallywhen I was getting over 4 hours of screen on time.
The colours were bright and punchy thanksin part to the X-Reality for mobile picture enhancement, the TRILUMINOUS display and allthe other technical wizardry that goes on in the background.
For those with a desire too, you can controlthe colour temperature of this screen too if you like.
Double tap to turn the screen both on andoff is present as is the ability to orient home screens in landscape too.
The X Compact is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon650 processor which is supported by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
With over a week's testing my experience wason the whole good with no real lag or performance issues.
Out of the box, the Android install is quiteheavy at over 10GB given that it feels like Sony have actually reduced some of the addons.
The whole experience feels a little lighterbut with retention of some useful features.
Gamers can rejoice in having connectivityto PlayStation meaning you can play games normally reserved for your PS4 right on yourmobile.
Gone is Simple Home, which reduced the amountof content on screen with larger, clearer icons, ideal for those with limited sightor wanted something a bit easier to manage.
You can easily organise home screens, addwidgets, folders and change the themes with ease.
For new smartphone users a series of ongoingtips and tricks to help you get more from the device.
This is on top of the Xperia Transferfor simple migration from one phone to another.
More advanced functionality is hidden withinthe settings.
Do Not Disturb being on example.
Great if you do not want your mates callingyou in the middle of the night but want you want to ensure close family can get hold ofyou.
Being an Android device you have all the benefitsbuilt in such as access to all of Google's apps and services, the Play Store for allyour apps and media and more.
Easily add email accounts and other profilesto the phone, even have multiple users if you choose.
Where some brands are looking to do away withheadphone jacks the trusty friend is present here but the Micro USB port of years parthas been replaced with the considerably more user friendly USB Type-C connection.
WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, 4G it has it.
It would have been nice to see the inclusionof wireless charging in the X Compact as another option, but sadly its not present.
The X Compact has Hi-Res Audio support, DigitalNoise Cancelling, Digital Sound Enhancement Engine and front facing stereo speakers.
What does all of this mean to you and I as users of the phone?!In short it means you get a very good all round audio experience that excels if youhave Hi-Res headphones and stream or store Hi-Res audio files on your device.
Even if you are streaming audio or playing back MP3 files stored on your device, theX Compact will look to enhance these with the DSEE technology.
The stereo speakers on the front are not the loudest, but they are clear and well balanced.
If you are taking a few minutes to watch a video or listen to a podcast the speakershere should do you proud providing the environment is not too loud.
If you have ever seen, read or handled a Sonysmartphone within the last few years you will likely be aware of all the tech they buildinto the camera to help capture sharp photos in any conditions.
Tthe 23 megapixel resolution camera has Sony’sExmor RS for mobile to achieve higher resolution and sensitivity, Bionz for mobile to reducenoise and produce true colour reproduction along with an F2.
0 24mm G lens to capturemore light.
Add to this SteadyShot with 5-axis stabalisation, quick launch and capture, and you should be able to capture stunning images in almostevery situation.
When launching the camera, you are presentedwith 3 key modes, the first of which is the default Superior Auto Mode, which is the simplepoint and shoot mode which many of us use.
Intelligent algorithms detect the scene andpick the best settings for what it detects.
Where once you were limited to 8 megapixelsin Superior Auto Mode, you now can shoot at up to 23 megapixels.
Manual mode is for those who want to takemore control.
You get 5x Clear Image Zoom with a maximumzoom of 8x within the camera too.
In all modes there are additional settingsavailable to control things like the save location, geotagging, gridlines, HDR and more.
On from this are additional camera apps suchas Sound Photo, Creative Effects and more add on modes.
These allow you to use the camerain innovative ways, perhaps have a little more fun and get some nice effects.
Given that the X Compact is sort of a squishedXZ, it is a shame that the front camera is not the same 13 megapixel, but 5 is generallyplenty good enough for most use case scenarios.
Another shame is that the video recordingon the X Compact tops out at 1080p and not 4K like the XZ.
The images results are good, but not exceptional.
Results can be a little mixed with very welllit shots coming out nicely but those with less light looking a little dull and washedout.
This was most apparent with images that includedthe sky.
Things like cloud formations were basically lost.
Clarity and sharpness are not as good as thecompetition.
This is perhaps personal opinion, but I preferthe slightly more saturated colour.
I need to remind of course, that I am notusing a finished production version so this may improve.
Focus speeds have improved from devices ofpast, but up against the likes of Samsung's S7 and the Sony is left behind a little.
One person's use case will always be differentto another and for the week or so I have been testing the X Compact, it has not undergonewhat I would call typical usage.
However a few screen on time tests and eventhis sample product with non-final software achieved around 4.
5 hours at full brightness, which I think is commendable from the 2700mAh battery built into the compact.
I would suggest a typical day was leavingme with around 25-30% come late evening.
This is based on no power saving technologybeing switched on and of course Sony offer STAMINA and Ultra STAMINA mode which can reallyextend the usage time by curtailing features and performance.
A neat feature Sony have implemented is BatteryCare.
Essentially this software add on is designed to increase the battery lifespanby reducing the time the device is charged over 90% for a long time.
You know how manyof us leave our phones on charge overnight? This features looks to learn from your habitsand alter the charge in the device so that it reaches 100% just before you need the phonerather than spending 4 hours a night being pushed more charge when it is already at 100%.
To work effectively the X Compact does needto see a bit of a routine.
Routine is not always possible, so the X Compactdoes boast quick charging when used with Quick Charger UCH12W.
The X Compact is for those who want a phonethat can be held and used in one hand and does not breach the 5” size that many nowdo.
If you like a big screen, stay away.
Existing Compact users are not going to beblown away by the X Compact (unless you still use the Z1 or Z3 Compact).
There are not enoughnew ‘wow’ features or improvements that really make you want or need to upgrade unlessyou are due or want a new phone.
The iPhone SE has more initial design appealand the X Compact seems to have lot a bit of that extra punch that made the Compact’sso popular.
This may sound a little critical, but thisis typical of many phones today when it comes to upgrades.
What you will gain however is a solid, comfortablephone that just works and does so well.
For me and I am sure many other, having asmartphone that I know I will get on with and just work goes far beyond any fancy featuresthat I may not use.
Yes fancy new features can impress, but theyquickly wear off for many of us.
If I may compare the X Compact to a friendship,if you like Compact models, it is an old friend you haven’t seen in awhile.
Within minutesyou just gel again and everything is rosy.
OK so this was a little unexpected.
Afterrebranding their main smartphone series to ‘X’ earlier this year, we thought we’dseen all Sony had to offer for 2016.
It seems we were mistaken though.
There are two moredevices for Sony to show off.
Jon is reviewing the new X Compact [link-through](he does love smaller phones), so here is the all new Xperia XZ.
The standout specification on the list isthe 23 megapixel camera with laser autofocus.
Sony’s already half played this card; theX Performance has the 23MP sensor.
They aren’t the first to show off laser focussing either.
So is this enough to wow the crowd? There’s also been a fair few Sony releasesin recent months.
Not every phone is available in every region, but there are 6 new X rangedevices in half as many months.
So where does the XZ sit at this family gathering? We can’t talk about the XZ without mentioningthe X Performance.
That was originally the 2016 flagship, although has been sort of usurpedafter about 2 or 3 months.
Even Tommen Baratheon lasted longer than that.
Now it is worth stating that the Performancewasn’t officially due to release in the UK.
The XZ is launching at the same RRP, sowe’re expecting the Performance to disappear from UK shelves quickly, leaving only oneflagship phone to order here.
With the XZ, a return to the design languageof earlier Z range devices is apparent.
I’ve always been a fan of Sony’s utilitariandesign.
By the time the Z5 rolled out late last year, this unique style had been highlyrefined and iterated on.
In my opinion the X range designs did awaywith a lot of that work.
Some remnants are on other X phones – they are still more‘boxy’ than the competition – yet the corners are far more rounded and the edgescurved.
XZ is slightly taller and thinner than otherX phones, with square corners more akin to the older Z range.
Personally I prefer this.
I feel it effects a more professional profile, in opposition to rest of the X range’s more‘mainstream’ look.
Also, despite being a shade larger, it’salso noticeably lighter in the hand than the Performance.
Officially the difference isonly three grams, so the weight must be more evenly spread.
The front glass on the XZ is ever so slightlyrecessed into the frame.
Other X phones protrude slightly with a 2.
5D edge to mimic a curveddisplay.
Again I prefer the XZ look and this has a chance of better surviving drops andknocks.
There’s a sense of symmetry too, with the back panel’s edging mirroring theglass on the front.
I’m sure someone at Sony can explain whythe volume keys are on the bottom half of the phone.
It’s been this way for a fewgenerations now and it still doesn’t quite make sense to me.
The only thing I can thinkof is that they are closer to the (always excellent) dedicated camera key for zooming.
With this many lines and edges you still don’tget the seamless feel of an iPhone or Galaxy.
Like all top-end Sony devices though, theXZ still feels solid and well manufactured.
As an aside, I also think Sony’s side-mountedposition of fingerprint sensor is the perfect placement too.
If you put this phone next to the X Performancethen you haven’t gone mad.
The internal specification is almost identical.
1 (Marshmallow)New Snapdragon 820 64 bit processor / 3GB RAM5.
2” Full HD resolution – Enjoy content in great detail23 MP Sony camera sensor with Laser Autofocus Lossless 5x Clear Zoom and <0.
1 second autofocus32 GB storage & micro SD support Fingerprint sensorUSB Type-C Hi-Res audio support Some differences include a slightly biggerscreen and a new laser autofocus system.
Sony tell me this improves on the ‘hybrid autofocus’seen on the X Performance.
Type-C USB is slowly coming to all the major brands so it’s nosurprise Sony have squeezed it in to a late release here.
Those aren’t major differences though andtrying to explain this to someone isn’t easy.
As always Sony cram top of the range hardwareinto their phones.
This is the upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820, so heating issues havebeen addressed.
The Sony camera lens/sensor combination has also been very impressivein recent years.
We’ll take a closer look at that later.
Screen wise, Sony are playing it fairly safewith the 1080×1920 5.
Eschewing the 2K panels on competitors is probably forthe best.
It saves on battery life and manufacturing costs for what are arguable gains on a phonescreen.
About 3 or 4 generations of Sony phones ago,it was common to say they had the slickest Android skin around.
That’s no longer the selling point it oncewas.
Samsung have improved the performance of Touchwiz considerably.
HTC, for what itsworth, have lovely integration of their own features into Google’s code.
Even cheaperChinese manufacturers such as Lenovo have leveraged their own systems into clean, lightweightinterfaces.
Sony’s system still has a clean look andfeel, although in the last couple of years inevitable feature creep has started to bloatthe UI.
For instance you’re never explicitly nagged to do so, but system widgets such as‘What’s New’ and a ‘Suggested’ feature in the app drawer are constantly trying topush you through Sony’s services to obtain new apps.
It reminds me a lot of Samsung’sharanguing when they aggressively pushed their app store on Galaxy phones.
Any major manufacturer will have some softwarepartnerships.
I can therefore half overlook having SwiftKey, AVG, Amazon, Facebook etc.
Installed off the bat.
These can’t be uninstalled though, only disabled.
I did find one nag – SwiftKey is the onlyavailable keyboard! It’s a very good app but I find that decision odd.
You can installothers from Google Play but I wonder why Sony went out of their way to remove the stockGoogle keyboard.
Even the decent Xperia keyboard isn’t here.
I suppose ‘money’ is theanswer to that question.
Other apps are actually well integrated howeverand add value.
Video/TV Sideview is one of these.
You set this up with a broad location(country/region) and preferred TV service provider.
The app then pulls up the TV schedule.
Browse the programmes and you can view information on the actors and even Tweets related to theshow.
I’m sure more than few media junkies would love this.
Overall the system seems a little faster thanthe last few Xperias I’ve used.
Hopefully this means Sony have taken on board some previouscriticisms.
It’s also likely to be due in part to Marshmallow’s handling of backgroundprocesses.
I regularly had over a dozen apps in the background and the phone never shoutedat me.
This is the major selling point for the XZ.
As such I was expecting very good things.
First off, Sony overhauled their camera appearlier this year.
All of these improvements carry over to the XZ.
This includes the cameraapp launch time, which is now almost instantaneous.
Also some features, such as 4K recording andother special modes, have been turned into separate apps, launching from the camera app.
This likely makes the footprint for the ‘camera’ app smaller and quicker to launch.
DxOMark scored the X Performance as high asany other mobile camera, so we can expect similar results from the near identical XZ.
The new autofocus system may even bump that score a notch.
Key things to look out for on this camerainclude the wide angle G lens and new laser autofocus.
The G Lens is better suited tooutdoor landscape and group shots than competitors.
The laser autofocus is undoubtedly quick.
I was able to swiftly snap onto subjects over a range of distances and track moving objects.
Sony’s image processing also appears lessoversaturated than other leading mobile cameras.
Samsung for instance are known for very highcontrast colours (helped by viewing on AMOLED screens), however camera enthusiasts sometimesscore them down for ‘unnatural’ reproduction.
Overall the XZ delivers very fine resolutionwith little noise or grain.
Colour reproduction is indeed very natural.
Some of my colleaguesthought the results to appear a little washed out.
I countered that they were more ‘natural’,compared to the over processed and saturated ‘promo’ style images we get exposed toon a regular basis.
Personal preferences aside, you can’t reallyfault the results.
There are plenty of settings in the app, noticeable difference betweenHDR and non-HDR imagery, and some fun filters and features to play with.
The Xperia XZ is a very good phone.
I do havesome concern over the size of Sony’s current range though.
Last year Sony Mobile supposedly committedto streamlining their offerings.
Yet with two new phones we now have a total of 6 Xrange devices and one entry level E model.
Even with 5 phones they were carrying toomuch weight for a division that’s supposed to have been on a diet.
By itself the XZ is a very decent flagship.
It ticks all the right boxes and continues the Sony design language.
However it can’tbe looked at by itself.
Retailing at £549 it matches the RRP of the Performance.
Admittedly that phone is now only availablein other regions.
This means Sony have two flagships for different regions.
If you hadto pick between the two then the XZ should win out on raw specs alone.
Die hard Sony fans will no doubt be pleasedwith the subtle camera improvements and return to the Z style chassis.
If this was the firstmajor Sony release in a year then I too would probably be more excited.
If you’re choosing between the current toprange smartphones then the Xperia XZ doesn’t disappoint.
It provides best in class hardware,up to date USB Type-C and an IP rating.
Let’s hope Sony continue in this vein next year, committing their resources to developing less devices overall and spending more time onefforts like this.
what's up guys in 2016 is off to a great start I'm actually so excited to see phonewise what we're going to be seeing this year so I wanted to create a littlefuture snapshot of the top 10 phones coming out in $MONTH 2016 top 10 phonesto be excited for 2015 was a great year really but in 2016 there's gonna be so much change and i'mso so excited now the phone i am personally most excited for 2016 is thesamsung galaxy s7 the iphone 7 i'm sure will be exciting but Samsung Samsungmakes huge leaps and bounds every year it surprises me just how farone generation samsung can go in 2015 the s6 and s6 edge blew me away I meanit's unlike anything I've seen in phones before the blend of hardware design withsoftware and it just is a fantastic phone really i gotta give him props soI'm so excited to see the s7 it's rumored to adopt some technology fromthe iphone success such as 3d touch live photos it's going to bring back the micro asthe slot and durability that's one thing samsung has focused onwith the s6 and with the s7 it will continue to focus on it just surprisedme really blows my mind how durable the s6 was in so many of my test this thingis completely chewed up and still works to a tee and these are in no particularorder but next up is the Samsung Galaxy no 1605 was a pleasant surprise i lovelove the pen and using it for various sketches and doodles whenever you needto be no 6 is rumoured adopt a lot of the same technology samsung has made the galaxy series andyou know series so similar now they know just being a little bit more powerfulwith the pen and all above is going to match a lot of the technology in thes-series also rumored to get its own version of 3d touch a little bit customwith the pen this is one of the bigger releases ofthe year so expect it towards the end of october next up is the m10 I've alwaysliked HD series phones but the m9 got some pretty bad reception and i don'tmean cellular reception people just didn't like it there wasn't enoughchange from the m8 so it didn't sell very well hopefully in this year'sversions you know she does make some changes they're rumored adopt a wirelesscharging in new technology with the camera detailsare pretty scarce by the m10 will ship in the second quarter of 2016 and ofcourse the big one the iphone 7 the amount of information this one has available right now rumorwise is crazy compared to any Android counterparts that are coming out in thefuture I don't know what it is with apple and leaks but there are tons weusually have a good idea about them even months months before the originalrelease it's going to feature an all-new design the appellate n ship twogigabytes of RAM standard three on the seven plus model the resolution mightchange but it is unlikely so there will be no headphone jack we know thatspeakers will supposedly be better and a big thing about the seven is its waterresistant or waterproof capabilities that's something that was gonna beselling with the iphone 7 and it's going to be huge either way one of the biggest releasesof the year absolutely site for it and let's not forget apples smaller offeringthe iphone 6c supposedly going to be available in April so this will be a4-inch iphone 5s replacement basically people that want a smaller screen sizewill have the choice of getting the 6 see it will come in several colors willstill be made of premium finishes metal and it will have touch ID no 3d touchinsight but it will still be fairly capable an apple a chip possibly a 9 1gigabyte of RAM rumored possibly to have to but it won't be a powerhouse by anymeans but it will be a little bit more affordable so we'll start at fivehundred dollars and it will be available very soon in April and next up is theone plus three this is a phone 10 Games That Are Unbeatable// That You Can Never Beat The phrase unbeatable game can mean different things depending on the context.
Sometimes, it means just what it sounds like:a game that was supposed to be beatable, but isn’t, often due to a glitch or incomplete coding.
Other times, it means a game that’s so intensely frustrating that most of us never see the ending, even if it’s technically possible.
And for some types of games, it just means a game that can’t be beaten because it was designed to go on indefinitely.
We’ve picked ten of the most iconic and notorious from all three of these categories.
Here are ten games that are unbeatable, in one way or another.
Devil May Cry 3 (original release)There was a time when Japanese game developers withheld their more difficult offerings from Western audiences.
However, by the 2000s, the tables had turned, and non-Japanese players often got versions of Japanese games that were even tougher than the originals.
Nowhere is this change more obvious than with the original North American release of Devil May Cry 3, where the hard mode in Japan is treated as the normal difficulty in North America, and the hardest difficulty of all – Dante Must Die – is an exercise in punishment.
In particular, DMC3’s major bosses are notoriously difficult, requiring great care and skill to conquer, especially at higher difficulty.
Unbeatable? Not technically.
But find a player who’s beaten the game on Dante Must Die difficulty, and you’ll have found a truly elite Devil May Cry master.
Cheetah men II The Cheetah men were first introduced as one of the 52 small games coded onto the unlicensed Action 52 NES cartridge.
Plans were made to create a sequel, but Cheetah men II was never finished or officially released.
So why is this game so infamous? In the mid-1990s, someone discovered a warehouse full of about 1,500 slapped-together copies of the unfinished game.
To this day, these are the only known physical copies in existence, making the cartridge an extremely rare prize for any serious NES collector, despite the fact that the game itself is terrible.
What’s more, although the developers completed initial work on 6 levels, the coding is so shoddy that it’s not possible to experience all 6 of them without hacking the game or stumbling across a very rare glitch, making Cheetah men II almost impossible both to find, and to beat.
Sim City There are lots of games that are designed to be unwinnable as a feature, not a bug.
This is especially true in the simulation game genre.
However, if we had to choose just one sim game to represent them all, we’d have to choose the original Sim City.
Sim City was more than just a simulator: it was hilariously fun and weirdly addictive, thanks to an easy-to-learn interface and elegant under lying design.
The game was a phenomenon, catapulting developer Will Wright to lasting fame and putting his publishing company, Maxis, on the map in abig way.
Without Wright’s ingenious and innovative work, we wouldn’t have seen the open-ended simulation genre explode the way it did during the 1990s, with cult hits like Sim Tower and Wright’s own Sim Ant, which inspired the even bigger hit series that followed: The Sims.
Pac-Man (arcade version)By design, arcade games are not easy to win.
In fact, many early arcade games were released with no end point in mind at all.
What these early developers didn’t realize was just how dedicated some people would get.
As one of the all-time classic arcade titles,it’s not surprising that serious Pac-Man players are downright obsessed with the game.
However, even the world’s best players can’t progress past a certain point: Map 256, the infamous Pac-Man kill screen.
Due to the mathematical limits of the game’s underlying architecture, reaching this screen causes the game to glitch out and freeze, with unintelligible characters filling the right half of the map.
The closest anyone can ever come to actually winning Pac-Man is getting a perfect score on all 255 preceding screens.
Duck Hunt Like Pac-Man, Duck Hunt is tough to conquer, but not impossible.
For the rare player who reaches level 99,though, a funny but infuriating glitch awaits that prevents any further progression.
Again, the glitch is numerical.
Duck Hunt’s programmers never actually expected any one to sit through 99 levels of.
well, duck hunting, but dedicated players have discovered that once the level counter passes 99, it rolls over to level 0.
However, the rest of the game has a big problem with the notion of a level 0, and it shows.
As players watch helplessly, the game frantically alternates between flashing a duck on the screen in random places until it flies away, and letting that darn dog pop up and laugh at you for no apparent reason.
This continues until all the player’s extra chances are depleted, whereupon the game resets to the title screen.
Dwarf Fortress Losing is fun! Get used to repeating this mantra as you slowly master this cult-favorite PC simulation game about a colony of dwarves trying to make a new settlement thrive ina very dangerous world.
It’s actually the motto of the game, and with good reason: aside from having a learning curve so steep it might as well be a brick wall, Dwarf Fortress is teeming with countless ways for your beloved dwarves to die or go insane as they carry on with their lives.
Dragons, demons, giant rats, and many other threats vie with each other to see which will be the first to lay the colony low.
Of course, as a sandbox game, there’s no way to win in the traditional sense, but even the modest goals you set for your colony can be almost impossible to achieve for all but the luckiest and most dedicated players.
Battle toads (NES version)Yes, it is technically possible to beat Battle toads, the insanely difficult NES action classic.
But how many people do you know who’ve doneit on the original cartridge, without save states or cheat codes? Chances are, unless you grew up playing this maddening game on a constant basis, you’ve never come close to seeing its ending without at least a little help.
Battle toads is a well designed game, but its difficulty level is so extreme, it’s probably contributed to more broken NES controllers than any other title.
That’s what makes it so memorable: You know you can beat it, but you probably never will.
It also gets a nod on this list for having the rare distinction of being both practically unbeatable in one-player mode and,in the original US release, literally unbeatable in two-player mode, where a glitch on Level11 prevents player 2 from riding the escape vehicle that’s required to beat the stage.
Donkey Kong (arcade version)Another game with integer overflow issues, Nintendo’s arcade classic Donkey Kong featuring Jump man, an early version of company mascot Mario traps players in an impossible situation on a seemingly-random level: Level 22, specifically on screen 117.
Unlike Pac-Man or Duck Hunt, the game doesn’t simply fall into an electronic seizure; instead, it cruelly taunts players with a perfectly functional level.
and a 4-second time limit.
No matter a gamer’s skill level, no matter what strategy they use, there’s simply no way to get Jumpman’s stubby little legs to move anywhere near fast enough to save Pauline before the clock runs out.
Ghosts ‘N’ GoblinsNothing says tough like finally beating a difficult game, only to discover that you’ve actually only beaten half of it.
Ghosts ‘N’ Goblins is tough enough on the first play through: it never takes more than 2 hits for the hero to die, and the ghoulish enemies abound.
Reaching the end takes a lot of practice, and a lot of skill to strike foes down without taking a hit in the process.
But what really pushes Ghosts ‘N’ Goblinsover the top is its first ending, where the whole game is revealed to have been an evil trick.
The game then starts over, this time with an even higher degree of difficulty.
It can be completely beaten by completing this second run, but the feat requires a saintly amount of patience and months or years of dedicated practice, making it basically unbeatable for most players.
Ninja Gaiden Black A reworked version of 2004’s famously difficult, smash-hit Ninja Gaiden reboot, Ninja Gaiden Black added an easier difficulty mode the insulting Ninja Dog mode and even tougher Master Ninja mode, which amped up the already-legendary difficulty of the game and made it basically impossible for most players to beat.
Requiring lightning-fast reflexes, split-secondtiming, perfect combat skills, and a good amount of memorization, Master Ninja mode took gamers who complained about how hard the original game was and put them in their place.
The Ninja Gaiden series has never been known for its forgiving game play, but Ninja Gaiden Black’s Master Ninja difficulty setting truly took the series over the top.

10 Characters Gamers Fantasize About but WouldNever Admit It's not hard to find a pretty face or a greatbody in the virtual world of video games.
When imagination is the only limit, there'sno reason why Gears of War's Augustus Cole can't be built like He-Man on steroids, orwhy Faith Connors, the protagonist of Mirror's Edge, can't be a humble courier who also happensto be drop-dead gorgeous.
But the characters that gamers fantasize aboutthe most are the ones that bring more to the table than just an enviable physique.
These are the people, monsters, and machineswe dream about, whether that means getting close to them or getting to be them andthey're not always what non-gamers might expect.
Here are 10 characters gamers fantasize about, but would never admit.
Dante, Devil May Cry seriesLet's get this out of the way right off the bat: Dante is silly and radical all at once.
Handsome, strong, stylish, and dripping withbad-boy attitude, this unstoppable Devil Hunter truly personifies the saying women wanthim; men want to be him.
Whether he's dressed in Gothic style and quietly searching a ruinedcastle, or kicking back in a jacket with no shirt underneath and a slice of pizza in hishand, as soon as the demons come out to play, Dante's more than happy to oblige, forcingthem to eat their words before sending them back where they came from.
No character does over-the-top cool betterthan Dante, and it's hard to imagine that one ever will.
Tali'Zorah, Mass Effect seriesYeah, she's an alien, but when it comes to this upbeat Quarian adventurer, we can keepan open mind.
Tali'Zorah is one of the main characters ofthe Mass Effect games, a crack engineer and seasoned combatant who joins Shepard's questto stop the Reapers as a playable character in all three titles, provided she survives.
A long-time fan favorite, Tali's enduringappeal is due to a combination of her smarts, her skills, her honest demeanor, the mysteryof what her face looks like under that mask, and a pair of very alluring hips.
We'd gladly take her three-fingered handsin ours.
Tommy Vercetti, Grand Theft Auto: Vice CityPower is addictive, and no Grand Theft Auto protagonist knows how to bask in his powerlike Vice City's infamous Tommy Vercetti.
Voiced by Ray Liotta, Vercetti is all of ourmobster-movie daydreams come to life, a ruthless but likable crime lord who manages to makeit to the top without self-destructing, and look good in a Miami Vice kind of way while he's doing it.
All the rewards of running the criminal underworld, with none of the downsides, and a garage full of sweet '80s supercars? There's no doubt about it: we've all wishedwe could be Tommy Vercetti at one time or another.
Jade, Beyond Good and EvilThere's really nothing to dislike about Jade, the resourceful protagonist of the underappreciatedclassic action-adventure game, Beyond Good and Evil.
She's got a pretty face, with green lipstickto accentuate her eyes, and a sense of style that says tough, but cool.
She's a capablemartial artist, a great photojournalist, and a loyal friend who always keeps a level head, even when things get rough.
Jade is also big-hearted and selfless – shebegins her quest out of concern for the war orphans under her care.
She's a hero through and through, just thesort of person you'd love to know in real life.
Dorian Pavus, Dragon Age: InquisitionIt's all about the hair.
Sure, this world-weary Altus mage with a darkfamily secret has a lot more going for him than just his considerable good looks: he'sgot a good heart, even if he also has a quick temper; a true socialite, he lives the goodlife and knows how to party, even if his drunken revels sometimes land him in hot water.
He's also a tremendously talented spellcaster,a force to be reckoned with, even at his lowest.
But let's get real: above and beyond all else,it's Dorian's dashing haircut and gentleman's mustache that always catches our eye first.
Sorry, ladies: Dorian Pavus is gay.
But straight men and women alike can stilladmire that gorgeous hair.
GLadOS, PortalAs far as manipulative rogue A.
S go, GLadOS has to be right near the top of the list ofall-time greats.
This program is ruthless, cruel, and as deviousa mind as any Big Bad who ever kidnapped a princess or tried to conquer the world.
It's also persuasive, funny, and weirdly charming.
In other words, it's the Wednesday Addamsof computer programs.
That lilting sing-song voice also adds toGLadOS's appeal.
Even when a player manages to survive thetesting facility at the end of the game, GLadOS can't help but taunt them with a song abouthow it can never be stopped.
It all adds up to one of the most strangelylikable video game antagonists ever to grace the screen.
GLadOS doesn't really have a body it'sa program, not a robot but a conversation alone would be a dream come true for manygamers.
as long as it happened a safe distance from the nearest Aperture science testingfacility.
Bowser, Super Smash Bros.
SeriesStepping into the role of Mario's perennial foe is the ultimate fantasy for any gamerwho's had a bad day and just wants to beat something up.
Big, loud, rude, and tough, Bowser goes wherehe pleases and does what he wants, even if that means retribution from a couple of peskyplumbers.
Of course, in the Super Mario series, Bowsertypically gets thrashed at the end of the game.
That's why we prefer the Koopa King's SmashBros.
He's a huge, heavy block of muscles, spikes, and bad attitude, and unleashing his brutal combos and crushing smash attacks on the restof the Nintendo universe is a deeply satisfying pastime, one that we've all sometimes wishedwe could experience first-hand.
Athena, Borderlands seriesBorderlands is full of over-the-top characters who don't take lip from anyone, but few ofthem have the loyal fan following of the tough-as-nails gladiator, Athena.
Sometimes a supporting character, sometimesa playable one, Athena is always a welcome addition wherever she appears in the twistedworld of the Borderlands games.
Her appearance and demeanor are a thrillingblend of grit and beauty, and her preference for the ladies is handled matter-of-factly,giving her a welcome bit of extra character depth in a manic series that can often justseem like crazy piled on top of more crazy.
And hey the guys can still look, as longas they don't stare.
Batman, Batman: Arkham seriesIt goes without saying that practically everybody has wanted to be Batman at some point in theirlives, but the version of the Caped Crusader that appears in the Batman: Arkham seriesof games takes our daydreaming to a whole new level.
This is the best Dark Knight ever to appearin video games.
He's a genius scientist with awesome gadgets,a world-class detective, and a force of nature on the battlefield, using fear and raw powerto knock out whole rooms full of enemies with ease.
In other words, he's the Batman we all sometimeswish we could be, righting wrongs and triumphing over evil with an iron will and incomparabletalent.
But even if we could only jump inside Batsfor a minute, getting the chance to personally clock the Joker right in his laughing facewould still be worth it.
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider seriesOK, it's no surprise that gamers think Lara Croft is sexy.
It's been a joke about video game fans practicallyever since the original Tomb Raider was released for the PlayStation.
That Lara Croft was all legs, guns, and cupsize, a protagonist tailor-made to appeal to teenage boys- yet created with a resourcefulness, toughness and smarts that made her popular with women as well.
But the Lara Croft we can't stop thinkingabout these days is the more realistic, rebooted version seen in the latest games.
This Lara is still pretty and leggy, sure, but she's also much more human.
Her vulnerabilities and worries make her featsof heroism and survival even more exciting, and they make her seem more like a real person, someone we could actually meet, if only once upon a time in some crazy world where adventurelurks around every corner.
That's a hard fantasy to pass up.
